Preferred Club is the way to go. I noticed that there was not much of a breeze at the PC pool, as it is surrounded by tall vegetation.There is one set of bathrooms with 4 stalls for women for all pool and beach goers (except the aforementioned PC pool bathroom). And although we tried our first day, we were not able to get teppanyaki reservations before 8pm our entire stay (7 nights). Everything is included in your price, there are no wristbands and each room has thoughtfully provided luxury amenities. This was our first time at Now Sapphire (second time at a NOW). Food was always hot when it was supposed to be. We got such great service from all of them!!! This fit the bill! Fantastic oceanfront room, make your own drinks in the Preferred Club lounge, and private pool perks! The rooms were very comfortable, with amazing views and amenities. I knew I wanted a resort within 20-30 minutes from the airport, with a great walkable beach, good food, nice beach, etc. I was glad my kids were older and not just potty trained, as it was a few minute walk to the bathroom. At the adult beach, Graciela and Jesus were wonderful. To the right you can walk all the way to the town of Puerto Morelos (and probably well past that) which is a good 40-60 minute walk. We were here mid-March and I would think that any earlier in the season you might find that the ocean and pools would be too cold to enjoy.At lunch, when you were in a swimsuit and didn't want to cover up to eat at a buffet or Blue Water, the pickings were a little scarce. We dined in the restaurants each night. We went with the Preferred Club because it was only a little bit more AND since I knew I wanted an oceanfront/view room it guaranteed us a "preferred" location in the resort. I wasn't sure about the "no reservations" for dinner, but then LOVED it. It seemed very safe. and a special goodbye dessert (see photos for both). We walked all up and down the beach and enjoyed it and felt perfectly safe. We very much appreciate your comments that help us to continue improving our facilities and services. There was a handy grill/food area near the main pool with a mix of Mexican food, American burgers/hotdogs type food, and then usually a very good fish option. Temperature was not as cold as you would think with a large pool. There is a beautiful beach, and the hard working staff is constantly clearing the seaweed that washes up. Great place! In one direction (to the left when facing the ocean) you can walk probably well over a mile (30 minutes or so) before high tide stopped us in a section. The adult pool (because it's smaller) was "refreshing" but the large pool was really just too cold even though the weather was hot. Housekeeping came at the same time every day, but we found turn down service to be on the early side for our block 6 room, around 6pm.
